5 Best cTrader Prop Firms in 2026
FTMO is our best all-round cTrader prop firm for 2026 because its 2-Step Challenge pairs mature cTrader support with a 10% static maximum-loss limit, a 5% daily-loss limit and an established reward process. FundedNext is stronger if you want more programme and payout configuration choices; The5ers suits traders focused on scaling; FundingPips offers a larger 12% static maximum-loss allowance on 2 Step Flex; and AquaFunded is the strongest instant-funding alternative in this shortlist for traders who want cTrader without completing an evaluation, although its trailing drawdown and consistency rules require tighter risk control.

Best cTrader prop firms: quick ranking
These rankings focus on active Forex/CFD programmes where the firm currently documents cTrader access. We give extra weight to the quality of the underlying programme, drawdown clarity, payout conditions, regional cTrader availability, any platform surcharge and whether the firm has enough established demand to make it a realistic shortlist for traders. The ranking is not based on affiliate commission size.

cTrader prop firms compared
The table compares one representative cTrader-compatible programme from each firm. It deliberately avoids temporary discounts and most list prices because promotions change faster than platform rules. For live pricing and current offers, use the ranking cards above or open the firm checkout through the relevant CTA.
| Firm / programme | cTrader access | Platform fee / limit | Evaluation | Loss limits | Reward / payout | Best for | Key catch |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FTMO 2-Step | cTrader is a current FTMO platform across web, desktop and mobile | FTMO says its challenge fee is one-time with no additional or hidden fees | 10% Phase 1 / 5% Verification; 4 trading days per phase | 5% daily / 10% static maximum loss | Up to 90% reward; first reward can be requested after 14 days on the FTMO Account | Established cTrader workflow and predictable static maximum loss | Two evaluation phases; FTMO US is a separate service and its platform choices should be checked separately |
| FundedNext Stellar Lite | cTrader available to eligible non-US traders | $25 one-time, non-refundable cTrader fee; new cTrader purchases currently limited to $50K or below | 8% Phase 1 / 4% Phase 2; no maximum time limit | 4% daily / 8% maximum loss | 80% standard reward share; multiple payout options; 95% lifetime share available as an add-on | Traders who want more programme and payout configuration choice | US traders cannot use cTrader. Current official help pages conflict on whether new Stellar Lite purchases require 2 or 5 evaluation days |
| The5ers High Stakes | cTrader available to non-US CFD clients | +$10 cTrader fee; platform choice is final after purchase | 10% Phase 1 / 5% Phase 2; 3 profitable days each phase | 5% daily / 10% maximum loss | 80%–100% through scaling; funded withdrawals every 14 days | Patient Forex traders who value scaling and established programme history | No cTrader for new US accounts; current High Stakes payout caps apply on larger funded accounts |
| FundingPips 2 Step Flex | cTrader supported alongside MT5 and Match-Trader | No separate cTrader surcharge is clearly stated in the current platform workspace; verify checkout | Current 2 Step Flex article lists 10% Phase 1 / 8% Phase 2 | 4% daily / 12% static maximum loss | Bi-weekly reward structures; current article lists 80% or 95% routes | Traders prioritising a larger static maximum-loss allowance | cTrader is unavailable to US residents/citizens; Master-stage weekend holding requires the relevant Swing option under current rules |
| AquaFunded Instant Funding Pro | cTrader is one of AquaFunded’s current CFD platforms | +$15 cTrader platform fee shown on the current Forex checkout | No evaluation phase; direct funded-stage access | 3% daily / 6% trailing maximum loss | 90% standard reward split; bi-weekly rewards, with optional earlier payout add-ons | Traders who want cTrader without completing a conventional challenge | 20% consistency rule on current new Instant Pro accounts, 5 qualifying 0.5% trading days and additional floating-loss controls |
Platform warning: cTrader availability is not a firm-wide guarantee. It can change by programme, region and account size. Check the platform shown on the final order screen before paying, especially if you are in the United States.
How we ranked these cTrader prop firms
We first required current official evidence that cTrader is available on an active Forex/CFD product. We then compared the exact programme rather than treating “supports cTrader” as enough. Our decision considers drawdown methodology, evaluation targets, payout eligibility, platform fees, account-size restrictions, country availability, rule clarity, programme history and trader fit. The wider editorial framework is explained in our prop firm scoring methodology.
We also prefer firms with meaningful trader demand and a track record that gives readers enough information to make a decision. However, commercial demand does not override a poor ruleset. A heavily searched firm can rank below another cTrader provider if the specific programme has tighter drawdown, restrictive payout conditions or material platform limitations. For the broader market, see our best prop firms ranking.
We rechecked cTrader availability and the representative programmes against current official platform, challenge and payout documentation. Where a firm’s own pages conflict, we flag the conflict rather than silently choosing the more favourable value.
Why use cTrader with a prop firm?
cTrader is a multi-device trading platform used for Forex and CFD trading. It appeals to traders who prefer a cleaner order-management workflow, depth-of-market tools, advanced charting and a consistent desktop, web and mobile experience. It also includes cTrader Automate, which supports custom indicators and automated trading workflows. FTMO’s current platform documentation specifically highlights cTrader Automate, C# and Python support.
For a prop trader, however, the platform is only one layer of the decision. The firm still controls the evaluation target, daily loss, maximum loss, payout rules, prohibited strategies and country eligibility. A polished platform will not compensate for a drawdown model that does not fit your strategy. If you are new to funded trading, start with our guide explaining what a prop firm is and then use the programme comparison tool to compare exact accounts.
Best cTrader prop firms reviewed

FTMO 2-Step
Best overall cTrader prop firmFTMO takes first place because cTrader is treated as a core platform rather than a secondary workaround. The firm currently supports cTrader on desktop, web and mobile, while cTrader Automate provides a route for custom indicators and algorithmic workflows. For this ranking, the 2-Step Challenge is the cleaner cTrader programme because its maximum loss remains static at 10% of the initial simulated balance.
The evaluation requires a 10% target in the FTMO Challenge and 5% in Verification, with a 5% maximum daily loss and four trading days in each phase. There is no maximum time limit. Once the FTMO Account is active, the evaluation profit targets and minimum trading days disappear; traders can request a reward after 14 days from the first trade, and the published reward share can reach 90%.
We prefer 2-Step over FTMO 1-Step for this page because new 1-Step orders from 12 October 2026 use a 50% Consistency rule in both the challenge and 1-Step FTMO Account. That does not make 1-Step bad, but it adds a profit-distribution condition that many cTrader users do not need if they are comfortable completing two evaluation phases.

FundedNext Stellar Lite
Best for cTrader programme and payout choiceFundedNext is the strongest alternative if you want cTrader but also want more control over the evaluation and payout configuration. Stellar Lite uses a two-phase structure with an 8% target followed by 4%, a 4% daily loss limit and an 8% maximum loss. There is no maximum time limit, and the standard FundedNext Account reward share is 80% with an optional lifetime 95% upgrade.
The cTrader-specific trade-off is important. FundedNext charges a one-time $25 platform fee for cTrader, and the fee is non-refundable. Its current cTrader documentation also limits new cTrader purchases to account sizes up to $50,000. US clients cannot buy new cTrader accounts and are directed to Match-Trader.
There is one live documentation conflict worth knowing before purchase. FundedNext’s dedicated minimum-trading-days article says Stellar Lite accounts purchased or reset on or after 12 October 2026 require two days per phase, while the longer Stellar Lite account guide still states five days. Because both are current official pages, we do not treat either number as settled here. Confirm the requirement displayed for your exact checkout or ask support before buying.

The5ers High Stakes
Best cTrader prop firm for scaling-focused tradersThe5ers is a strong cTrader choice for patient Forex traders who care more about a long-term scaling path than passing an evaluation as quickly as possible. Its High Stakes programme is a two-step route with a 10% Phase 1 target and 5% Phase 2 target, 5% daily drawdown, 10% maximum loss and no maximum trading period.
Non-US CFD clients can currently select cTrader for an additional $10. The platform choice is final after purchase, so traders should not assume they can start on MT5 and move to cTrader later. New US accounts do not offer cTrader; The5ers currently directs US CFD clients to TradingView.
High Stakes requires three profitable days in each evaluation phase and uses an 80% reward split that can increase through the scaling plan. Funded withdrawals can be requested every 14 days. The biggest current caveat for larger accounts is the payout cap: The5ers lists a $3,000 cap on the $50K High Stakes funded account and $4,000 on the $100K account, alongside minimum P&L requirements.
If you hold trades for longer periods, also compare our best prop firms for swing trading.

FundingPips 2 Step Flex
Best for a larger static maximum-loss allowanceFundingPips earns fourth place because its current 2 Step Flex model gives cTrader users a comparatively large 12% static maximum-loss allowance alongside a 4% daily limit. The platform workspace explicitly supports cTrader, MT5 and Match-Trader, and cTrader can be used through web, Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android.
The current 2 Step Flex article lists a 10% Phase 1 target and 8% Phase 2 target, with two reward structures chosen at purchase: an 80% route with one minimum trading day or a 95% route tied to three profitable days of at least 0.5% each. Reward cycles are bi-weekly. Because FundingPips has changed this model during 2026, save the checkout configuration and confirm the live objectives before paying.
Country and Master-stage rules are the main caveats. FundingPips states that US residents and citizens cannot use cTrader. Weekend holding is available during evaluation, while current Master-account rules require the relevant Swing option for weekend exposure. The Master Account also applies risk-per-trade-idea controls at certain account sizes, so the 12% headline maximum loss should not be treated as permission to risk the full cushion on one position.
If entry cost is one of your biggest constraints, compare the wider cheap prop firm ranking.

AquaFunded Instant Funding Pro
Best cTrader option for instant fundingAquaFunded takes the fifth spot because it combines current cTrader access with a genuine no-evaluation route. Its Instant Funding Pro model starts directly at the funded stage, so there is no challenge profit target to pass. The trade-off is a tighter risk framework: the current model uses a 3% daily drawdown and a 6% trailing maximum drawdown based on the highest equity reached.
AquaFunded currently lists cTrader alongside MatchTrader, TradeLocker and MT5. Its current Forex purchase page shows cTrader as a $15 platform add-on. AquaFunded also allows platform changes in limited circumstances before trading has started or when moving to a new evaluation phase, but traders should still select the intended platform carefully at checkout.
The main reason AquaFunded does not rank higher is that Instant Funding Pro adds several funded-stage conditions beyond the headline 6% drawdown. Current new accounts use a 20% consistency rule, require five qualifying trading days with at least 0.5% profit, and apply a floating-loss rule that can breach the account before the headline maximum loss is reached. The standard reward split is 90% with a normal 14-day cycle, while optional add-ons can change the payout timing or split.
If skipping the evaluation is the priority, also compare our instant funding prop firm ranking. If AquaFunded’s consistency rule is a poor fit, compare our prop firms with no consistency rule.
Filter prop firms by cTrader, then compare the actual rules
A platform preference narrows the shortlist. Drawdown, payout eligibility and strategy restrictions should decide the final account.
How to compare cTrader prop firms
Confirm cTrader on the exact programme
Do not rely on a firm-level platform logo. Some firms restrict cTrader by programme, account size or region. Check the platform selector on the final order screen.
Add the platform surcharge
FundedNext, The5ers and AquaFunded add a cTrader fee on the configurations checked for this page. Compare total checkout cost rather than the headline challenge price.
Calculate usable drawdown
Convert daily and maximum loss into cash and understand whether the floor is static or trailing. Use the drawdown calculator.
Match payout rules to your return profile
Check waiting periods, profitable days, best-day rules, buffers and payout caps. “Daily payout” does not necessarily mean all current profit is immediately withdrawable.
Check automation rules
cTrader Automate can run cBots, but each prop firm can still prohibit specific automated, copied, latency-driven or exploitative strategies.
Check your country before paying
cTrader access is particularly restricted for US traders. Use our US prop firm ranking if you are resident in the United States.
cTrader vs MT5 for a prop firm challenge
Choose cTrader if you already prefer its order workflow, charting, depth-of-market tools or cTrader Automate environment. It is particularly attractive to traders who want one interface across desktop, web and mobile and to developers who prefer C#-based automation. FTMO also documents Python support within its cTrader automation ecosystem.
Choose MT5 if maximum firm availability and a larger existing EA ecosystem matter more. MT5 remains more widely offered across prop firms, which can make it easier to move the same manual or automated workflow between providers. Platform familiarity can reduce execution mistakes, but it should not cause you to accept a worse drawdown or payout model simply to avoid changing software.
The practical approach is to shortlist programmes by rules first, then use platform as the final filter. The PFC comparison tool lets you compare exact programmes, while the main ranking is useful if cTrader is a preference rather than a requirement.
cBots, EAs and automation on cTrader prop firms
cTrader’s automation capability is one reason algorithmic traders search specifically for cTrader prop firms. However, platform capability and prop-firm permission are two different questions. A cBot can function perfectly on cTrader and still violate a firm’s rules if the strategy uses prohibited latency arbitrage, high-frequency execution, account sharing, third-party signals or a restricted copy-trading structure.
Before deploying automation, read the current prohibited-strategy policy for the exact firm and programme. Keep evidence of the version you checked, especially if the system depends on a VPS, copier or external API. If you are still testing whether the strategy’s risk profile is suitable for a funded challenge, use our prop firm probability calculator and position size calculator before paying for an evaluation.
cTrader country restrictions: the US matters most
Platform availability is increasingly regional. FundedNext says US traders can use Match-Trader but not cTrader. The5ers offers cTrader to non-US CFD clients but not new US accounts. FundingPips says US residents and citizens cannot use cTrader. AquaFunded lists cTrader as a current platform, but its Help Centre does not clearly state a US-specific cTrader rule; the current Forex page highlights MatchTrader and TradeLocker as US-available, so US traders should verify cTrader directly at checkout.
FTMO provides US residents through a separate FTMO US service, while its global platform documentation lists cTrader. Because the US product is operationally separate, US traders should confirm the platform displayed by FTMO US instead of assuming that the global cTrader list applies. If country eligibility is your first filter, use our best prop firms for US traders. UK traders can compare the UK prop firm ranking.
Who should choose a cTrader prop firm?
cTrader is most useful when the platform itself improves your trading workflow. It may be a good fit when:
- you already trade manually on cTrader and want to avoid changing execution habits for a challenge;
- you use cTrader’s web or mobile workflow across different devices;
- depth of market and cTrader’s order-management interface are important to your style;
- you develop compliant cBots or indicators through cTrader Automate;
- you trade Forex, indices, metals or other CFDs rather than exchange-traded futures; and
- your country and chosen account size are eligible for the firm’s cTrader connection.
If you are still learning challenge rules, platform preference should come later. Start with our best prop firms for beginners and how to pass a prop firm challenge. Traders who hold positions for days rather than hours should also compare the swing-trading ranking, because weekend and news rules can matter more than the platform.
Choose the risk rules before the trading platform
A common mistake is to find a cTrader prop firm first and only then look at the loss limits. Reverse that process. A trader with a strategy that regularly experiences a 6% peak-to-trough drawdown should not choose a 6% trailing-loss programme simply because cTrader is available.
A 10% static maximum loss gives a $10,000 account-level cushion before other rules are considered. A 6% trailing maximum loss gives only $6,000 initially and may move upward with profit. A 2.5% daily loss limit gives a $2,500 daily risk ceiling. Those differences affect position sizing far more than whether the order ticket is cTrader or MT5.
Build the risk budget from the programme rules, reserve room for spread, commission and correlated positions, then decide whether cTrader adds enough value to justify any platform surcharge. If you want fewer calendar constraints, compare prop firms with no minimum trading days. If profit-distribution rules are the problem, use our no-consistency-rule ranking.
Final verdict: which cTrader prop firm should you choose?
Choose FTMO 2-Step if you want the strongest all-round cTrader option in this shortlist, prefer a 10% static maximum loss and are comfortable completing two evaluation phases.
Choose FundedNext Stellar Lite if you value programme and payout configuration more than the $25 cTrader surcharge and $50K cTrader purchase ceiling. Confirm the current minimum-day rule before checkout.
Choose The5ers High Stakes if scaling and a patient two-step Forex structure matter most, and you accept the $10 cTrader fee and current payout caps on larger funded accounts.
Choose FundingPips 2 Step Flex if a 12% static maximum-loss allowance is especially important and you understand the additional Master-stage risk, news and weekend conditions.
Choose AquaFunded Instant Funding Pro if you want cTrader without completing a challenge and you are comfortable with a 6% trailing maximum drawdown, 20% consistency rule and five qualifying trading days before reward eligibility.

cTrader prop firm FAQs
FTMO is our best all-round cTrader prop firm for 2026. Its 2-Step Challenge combines native cTrader access with a 10% static maximum-loss limit, a 5% daily-loss limit, no maximum evaluation time and an established 14-day reward cycle once the FTMO Account is active. FundedNext, The5ers, FundingPips and AquaFunded can be better for specific priorities.
The firms in this ranking that currently document cTrader access are FTMO, FundedNext, The5ers, FundingPips and AquaFunded. Other firms also offer cTrader, but availability can vary by programme, account size and country, so confirm the exact checkout configuration before paying.
Yes. FTMO currently lists cTrader alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView. FTMO also documents cTrader Automate for custom indicators and trading robots, with C# and Python support. We prefer the 2-Step Challenge for this ranking because its 10% maximum loss is static and it does not use the 1-Step Consistency rule.
Yes for eligible non-US CFD traders. FundedNext currently charges a one-time $25 cTrader platform fee, and its help centre states that new cTrader purchases are limited to account sizes up to $50,000. US clients are directed to Match-Trader instead.
Do not assume so. FundedNext, The5ers and FundingPips explicitly restrict cTrader for US traders in their current documentation. AquaFunded lists cTrader globally but does not clearly publish a US-specific cTrader rule in its Help Centre, so US traders should verify the live checkout. FTMO routes US residents through its separate FTMO US service, so US traders should verify the platforms shown there rather than relying on the global platform list.
Some do. FundedNext currently charges a $25 one-time cTrader platform fee. The5ers adds $10. AquaFunded currently shows cTrader as a $15 add-on on its Forex purchase page. FTMO says its challenge fee is a one-time fee with no additional or hidden fees. FundingPips documents cTrader availability but its current platform workspace does not clearly state a separate cTrader surcharge, so check the live checkout.
cTrader supports automated strategies through cTrader Automate, but that does not automatically mean every prop firm permits every cBot or automation technique. A firm can restrict latency arbitrage, high-frequency behaviour, copy trading, third-party signals or other strategies even when the platform technically supports automation. Check the firm’s prohibited-strategy rules before running a bot.
Neither platform is automatically better. cTrader is attractive for traders who prefer its interface, depth-of-market tools, web and mobile workflow and cTrader Automate ecosystem. MT5 has a larger retail EA ecosystem and is offered by more prop firms. The more important decision is whether the exact programme rules, drawdown, payout conditions and country eligibility fit your strategy.
Sources and verification
Platform and programme rules checked 30 October 2026 against current official sources: FTMO trading platforms and FTMO trading objectives; FundedNext trading platforms, FundedNext cTrader guidance and Stellar Lite rules; The5ers platform FAQ and High Stakes rules; FundingPips platform workspace and 2 Step Flex rules; and AquaFunded platform guidance, AquaFunded Forex platform pricing and AquaFunded Instant Funding Pro rules. Platform access, pricing and rules can change after publication.
Verification note: FundedNext currently has conflicting official wording for Stellar Lite minimum trading days after 12 October 2026. We have therefore not used a single minimum-day number as a ranking advantage. FundingPips has also changed 2 Step Flex objectives during 2026, so traders should save the current checkout configuration before purchase.
