Christian is the co-founder and lead researcher at Prop Firms Compare, where he specialises in evaluating proprietary trading firms, challenge structures, drawdown rules, payout conditions and overall trader suitability.

Alongside his work on Prop Firms Compare, Christian works within Glencore’s institutional commodity-trading environment, giving him first-hand exposure to the technology, risk controls and operational processes that support professional trading businesses. He combines this professional perspective with his own experience as a retail trader and prop-firm customer.

Christian has personally tested dozens of prop firms and funding programmes, assessing not only headline prices and profit splits but also the rules that can materially affect a trader’s chances of keeping a funded account. His research focuses on areas such as daily and maximum drawdown calculations, payout requirements, trading restrictions, platform availability, programme costs and the clarity of firms’ published terms.

His approach is centred on transparency and practical decision-making. Reviews and comparisons are designed to highlight both the advantages and the material drawbacks of each firm, helping traders choose programmes that genuinely fit their strategy, risk tolerance and trading style..
